I have said this to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution, but take courage: I have conquered the world!
God, we come before You navigating a world filled with strife and segmentation, chaos and confusion, and trials and trouble. We pray for You to ordain Your peace for us today. Do a work in and through us that Your peace will resonate in our hearts, transform our minds, and manifest itself in our words and actions so that our lives, families, homes, communities, nation, and world will reflect Your peace – the peace that passes all understanding. We pray that You will show us the way to make peace possible throughout the global village. Help us to chart new pathways to peace and to be humble enough and courageous enough to take them. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
